Description

Prosecco DOC Extra Dry is an elegant and refined sparkling wine with a fine, persistent perlage. On the nose it releases aromas of white flowers, green apple and delicate citrus notes. On the palate it is fresh and harmonious, with a pleasant softness balanced by a lively acidity. Perfect as an aperitif, it pairs well with light dishes, crustaceans and fresh cheeses.

History & legends

The name Prosecco comes from the village of the same name near Trieste, where as far back as Roman times a wine called Pucinum was produced, greatly appreciated by Empress Livia Drusilla, wife of Augustus. It is said that she attributed her longevity to this wine!
