History & legends
Cabernet Sauvignon has its historical origins in the Bordeaux region of France. It is said to be the result of an accidental crossing between Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc, which occurred in the 17th century. Although initially little known, this grape variety conquered the world thanks to its ability to adapt to different climatic conditions and its consistent quality. Today it is one of the most widely cultivated and appreciated varieties, synonymous with elegance and complexity.
